Privacy policy

This policy explains how Lash Institute Norway processes personal data when you visit the website, send an email or book a consultation.

Data controller

Alisia Søb / Lash Institute Norway is responsible for personal data connected with course enquiries and client contact. Email: lashinstitutenorway@gmail.com.

Information we process

We may process your name, email address, telephone number, salon or workplace, preferred meeting time, the course you are considering and information you provide in your message or booking.

Purpose and legal basis

Information is used to answer enquiries, conduct consultations, adapt a course offer and manage a potential or existing agreement. Processing is necessary to respond to your request and prepare or fulfil an agreement.

Calendly bookings

The contact page uses Calendly for free consultation bookings. Information entered there is sent to Calendly, which may also process technical data and cookies under its own terms. Read Calendly’s privacy notice.

Email and service providers

Email is received and stored in Gmail, provided by Google. The website is hosted by OpenAI Sites. These providers may process necessary technical information to deliver and secure their services.

International transfers

Calendly, Google and website service providers may process information outside the EEA. Where this occurs, transfers must rely on a valid legal mechanism such as an adequacy decision or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

Enquiries that do not lead to a course relationship are deleted when no longer needed, normally within 12 months. Customer and accounting information is retained as required by the agreement and applicable law.

Cookies and Google Analytics

The website uses Google Analytics 4 with consent mode to measure visits and understand which pages are useful. Before consent, Google receives limited technical consent signals without analytics cookies. After you select “Accept analytics”, Analytics may measure traffic sources, page views and clicks on booking, email and telephone links. Your choice can be changed at any time through “Privacy choices” at the bottom of the page.

Google may process technical information such as device and browser type, approximate location, pages visited and visit time. IP anonymisation is enabled, advertising signals are disabled, and we do not send names, email addresses or enquiry content to Analytics.

The embedded Calendly calendar may additionally use necessary and optional cookies managed through Calendly’s own banner.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability and object to processing where applicable. Contact us by email. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
